Electrical stimulation uses an electrical current to simulate muscles. By passively activating the muscle, by placing a pair of electrodes on the target muscle or muscle group, the unit can send electrical impulses through the skin to underlying nerves, stimulating the contraction and relaxation of the muscle in a rhythm similar to daily exercise. Electrical Stimulation can be used for two primary functions; strength training and muscle tone or pain control.Infrared light therapy has healing
benefits much like natural sunlight
without any dangerous solar radiation
effects. Pain sufferers of all kinds are
reporting varied results from the use of infrared light therapy. Benefits from this light therapy are due to the light’s ability to dilate and expand blood vessels which can increase overall blood circulation, increase lymph drainage of toxins, increase energy in cells and promote healing.
