
About Dr. Qingsong Xiao
Dr. Qingsong Xiao, a third-generation TCM practitioner with over 33 years of clinical experience, has been serving the Valley community since 2006. She specializes in gastrointestinal health, hormone balancing, reproductive health, mental health, and pain management.
Dr. Xiao began her training at a young age under the guidance of her father and grandfather, mastering herbal medicine and traditional healing techniques. She is a 33rd-generation Shaolin Qi Gong healer, with her Dharma name, Shi Yongxing, proudly inscribed at the Shaolin Temple in Henan, China. She has also served as Vice Chair of the Sichuan Nanchong Shaolin Qi Gong Association, where she trained practitioners in advanced Qi Gong healing methods.
Dr. Xiao earned her degree from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 1991, followed by master’s degrees in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, as well as a Ph.D. in TCM focusing on the treatment of depression.
In 2015, she founded the nonprofit EMed Research Center, leading pioneering research into chronic conditions such as diabetes and Alzheimer’s disease. Through her practice, Dr. Xiao integrates acupuncture, herbal medicine, Qi Gong, and holistic therapies to empower patients to achieve long-term wellness and balance.
